This has to be considered for archive systems as well as the attached components. If the service lifetime is exceeded, a migration is necessary. This might be a media migration (e.g., optical media to a hard disk-based system) or a server migration (e.g., to a new version of the archive system). Savento can assist in both cases with long-lasting experience. System Downsizing An SAP® system landscape build of a productive, a quality assurance, and a development system is very storage space consuming. Particularly when productive data is copied to the quality assurance/development system, although normally only a small fraction (especially the current data sets) is sufficient. In this case as well as in cases of system shutdowns Savento can support you in order to save costs and time which accrue by needless extensive data management. Archive Consolidation The goal of the project was to stepwise consolidate the archive systems and their components of a leading company in the automotive sector.
